Hello, friend. My name is Allison Graber. Welcome to my space. This is where I compile fragments of wisdom and insight I’ve gained over my meager 33 years of existence. I’d like to share these words with you.
I grew up in the Midwest, the daughter of two phenomenally loving parents. I’m 13-years married to Lynn, a mix engineer with quiet ways and a loyal spirit. My two little girls, Ellis and Adeleine, daily coax delight out of my heart. We live in Nashville, Tennessee.
The paradigm through which I see the world has been built brick-by-brick from my experiences with my Jesus, my love of cultures and people, through curiosity, the love of science and nature, Holy words, loss, and through the surprising joy of motherhood.
Although I’m thankful for my work in public relations, journalism, and in church ministry, I’ve realized that my experiences in loss and suffering, and pursuing love and hope in a messed up world, are much more valuable. These are the places where treasure is found. Sometimes the dig is ugly. Sometimes your hands are raw with it. But isn’t that The Gospel? Where raw and ugly collide with love and hope? Join me as I dig for this treasure.
I was recently on the Mom Inspired Show podcast where I shared my story and talked about all the feelings of motherhood. You can find my interview here.
